Mott Mansion destroyed in fire

A historic mansion on the Chattahoochee River has been "completely destroyed" by fire. Authorities said the Sunday blaze gutted the home known as the Mott House, which was built by the second mayor of Columbus and then later owned by some of the city's pioneering businessmen. Read more here.
