The Inaugural Muscogee-Creek Native American Art Fair will be held on the Phenix City Riverwalk and at the Phenix City Amphitheater. A group of Muscogee artists, singers, storytellers, and historians will be welcomed home to Russell County from Oklahoma. Festivities will begin on Saturday, May 30, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with an opening ceremony on the Riverwalk, just past the Holland Creek Bridge. Afterwards, guests can enjoy storytelling, dancing, flute making demonstrations, bow making, basket weaving, jewelry design, and cooking of traditional foods.
